Redensifying Eye & Lip Peel**

What to Expect

Treatment time

45-60 minutes depending on treatment level.

Results

Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discolored skin, and scars - usually on the face.  They can be done alone, or combined with other cosmetic procedures.  And they can be done at different depths, from light to deep.  Deeper chemical peels offer a more dramatic results, but do result in a longer recovery time.

Downtime/Recovery Time

No expected down time.  These peels typically do not involve shedding for the first 24-48 hours but there may be shedding and peeling for up to 5 days. 

How long do results last? / Suggested Maintenance

2-6 weeks, depending on the peel.

Most common side effects

During the procedure, you may experience a mild burning sensation, but it will not continue after the procedure is finished.
Minimal, mild redness may occur after use of a peel treatment.

Chemical peels typically do not have any serious side effects, although some risks do exist such as swelling, scarring, and (rarely) infection.
